The African turquoise is a type of Jasper that has the look of an earthy turquoise, and is called a 'stone of evolution' because it encourages growth, development and positive change, and opens the mind to new ideas, new possibility and new existence.

ABOUT
Moksha Yoga Amazónica is an experiential yoga school based in the Amazon jungle of Peru. We focus on connecting body movement, breath work, and nature all together to create more awareness, and enjoy the day. We follow and promote a daily yogic practice infused with Ayurvedic Self-care principles and routines, with active Integral Vinyasa flows and energizing foods in the morning, while sunset Yin asana and Abhyanga oiling practices promote the parasympathetic nervous system, relaxation, and better sleep.
We base our teachings on the ancient Vedic texts of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, to go beyond the practice of asana and into observation of thoughts, actions, and reactions, working towards dissolving the ego, embracing our shadow, and living with equanimity.
