Kayla has always been drawn towards a life of healing – be it for herself and others through her interest in psychology, nutrition, and mindfulness, or the planet through her career in environmental sustainability and organic farming. Kayla was first introduced to yoga for its physical benefits in helping her body recover from years of playing competitive soccer. But yoga has since then become so much more – a way of connecting to the body, observing the mind, gaining clarity on the way things are, and deepening a connection with others and nature. Kayla is a certified 200 hour yoga teacher, and her classes focus on holding space for students to develop a connection to themselves through exploration, observation, discipline, and light-heartedness. Kayla teaches anatomy, pranayama and meditation in some of Moksha Yoga Amazónica's teacher training courses. She speaks English and a touch of French.
