YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Swami Atmatattwananda Sawaswati
Swami Atmatattwananda Saraswati was born in 1952 in the state of Oddissa, India. After beginning his career as a science teacher he began suffering from abdominal colics, which he was able to cure through yoga practice. This led him to seek the deeper aspects of yogic science and philosophy, and at the age of 28 he left his worldly life to join world-famous Swami Satyananda Saraswati and practice Satyananda Yoga of the Bihar School at the Munger Ashram. Today, he still lives an ascetic life, teaching all aspects of yoga both in India and the West, with an inclination for philosophy, pranayama, and meditation. He is the author of the book "Steps to Raja Yoga", a complete illustration and reference on Yoga knowledge and practice. Swami is scheduled to come teach in Peru in 2022 in some of Moksha Yoga Amazónica's teacher training courses. He speaks Hindi and English.
