Tiana Prince

A lifelong lover of creative movement and expression, following the call of her heart on the path of Bhakti Yoga, Tiana is an ever-curious, passionate, and devoted student and teacher. She draws from her background in dance, theatre, and education to create unique and explorative Vinyasa and Yin Yoga practices, infused with music, mantra, poetry, and storytelling. She pours her heart into all of her offerings, which also include kirtan, ecstatic dance, kids yoga, and international women’s retreats with Salisa Retreats. Guided by the rhythms and grace of the natural world, she loves spending time outdoors, exploring and going on adventures. Her yoga journey has taken her around the world, from ashrams in India to the jungles of Costa Rica to the rooftops of Morocco and back to her hometown yoga studio in Ontario, Canada. A graduate of White Peacock Yoga School’s 300-hour Bhakti Academy and Yandara Yoga Institute’s 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Tiana is an ongoing student of Bhakti Yoga, Hindu Mythology, and Tantric Philosophy. She is also a certified dance, drama, and language teacher, holding two bachelor’s degrees in Arts and Education from Queen's University. Tiana first came to teach at Moksha Yoga Amazónica in June 2021 and has since met many lifelong friends and experienced great inspiration, growth, and transformation here in the heart of the Amazon Jungle. She is deeply grateful and thrilled to be back, and can’t wait to meet you and practice together!
